Our New Developments

• Because of increased numbers of members we have twice added extensions to our original workshop.These areas are now being joined to give a better machine shop.

• Over the last 2 years we have learned the importance of good dust extraction & sound insulation. A centralised dust extractor with ducts was installed but is unsatisfactory because of the large number of "gates" that have to be opened or closed.
  We plan to install separate extractors linked to the major machines.

• Additions to our toy output include kitchen cookers and wash basins, large dolls houses, rocking horses, wheelbarrows, prams, cradles & improved easels.

• A satisfying project was making a Cooker/Wash basin for a young girl with Cerebral Palsy to enable her to use it whilst wearing her standing frame.
